Senior Software Engineer

About the role

The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop and deliver high‑quality, scalable applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and deliver applications in line with scope, cost and timeline.
• Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design data models, program structures and write clean, secure code following international best practices.
• Perform unit testing, participate in peer code reviews and maintain system documentation.
• Ensure adherence to PMO/INA procedures and produce necessary documentation.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software development and design experience.
• Experience with both waterfall and agile development methodologies.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Kafka and MongoDB.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and containerization.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, Event‑Driven Architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with API gateway integrations such as 3Scale and Kong.
• Experience in performance tuning, debugging, monitoring and distributed services resiliency.
