Site Acquisition Manager – Retail Expansion

About the role

The Site Acquisition Manager will lead the growth of Majid Al Futtaim’s retail footprint across the UAE, focusing on hypermarkets and supermarkets. You will identify new market opportunities, negotiate leases, and oversee the full store development cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to pinpoint high‑potential locations and assess competitive dynamics.
• Develop and execute expansion strategies, managing timelines, budgets and cross‑functional teams.
• Lead site selection, lease negotiations and property acquisition for new stores.
• Coordinate with construction, legal and marketing teams to ensure on‑time store openings.
• Analyse financial performance of new and existing stores and report ROI to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in site acquisition, expansion or related roles within the hypermarket/supermarket sector.
• Proven track record of managing multiple expansion projects and delivering revenue growth.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
