About the role
The position involves interpreting English phone conversations to Somali and vice‑versa, providing simultaneous translation for live audio or video calls. You will support medical staff, school nurses, and customer service interactions while working from home within the UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret English‑Somali phone calls and live conversations.
- Assist doctors, nurses, school staff, and customers with translation needs.
- Perform simultaneous translation during audio or video calls.
Required profile
- Resident currently located in the United Arab Emirates.
- Fluent in English and Somali.
- Stable internet connection and a quiet room for calls.
- Flexibility for night shifts.
