About the role

The Specialist Settlement Services role is responsible for end‑to‑end settlement processing across domestic, regional and international markets for a wide range of products, ensuring high‑quality client service in line with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and process daily settlement instructions for equities, mutual funds, fixed income, ETFs, securities lending/borrowing and short‑selling.
• Validate client and market instructions, match and settle transactions timely across all markets.
• Communicate with clients, custodians, brokers, regulators and internal teams to resolve queries and ensure smooth settlement flow.
• Support project initiatives such as system upgrades, process enhancements and new product onboarding.
• Provide first‑level training to new specialists and assist with complex inquiries.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of settlement processes, regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and maintain accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SWIFT messaging for settlement instructions.
• Experience in FX and cash settlement operations.
• Knowledge of securities lending, borrowing and short‑selling processes.
• Reconciliation and position‑cash management expertise.
