Steward – Hotel Utility Cleaner

About the role

The Steward supports essential hotel operations by maintaining cleanliness across multiple departments such as kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry. This full‑time position at W Hotels in Dubai ensures guests receive spotless linen and dining ware while upholding safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare clean linen and dining ware for guest use.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, linen washers and dryers).
• Transport dishware and linens throughout the hotel.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures and quality standards.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to management.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Stand, walk, sit for extended periods and reach overhead or below the knees as required.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• No prior related work experience needed.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, stooping motions.
• Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to safety and quality standards.
• No supervisory experience, license or certification required.
