Team Manager – Merchant Lending (POS Loans)

About the role
The Team Manager will lead a SME Asset Team focused on merchant lending solutions, including POS loans and buy‑out finance. This role combines business development, sales execution and portfolio oversight to drive growth and maintain credit quality.
Key responsibilities
- Generate new business volume through diverse sales activities targeting SME clients.
- Execute end‑to‑end sales processes, from prospecting to self‑closure.
- Lead and coach a team of 10‑11 members, ensuring performance targets are met.
- Source and onboard new clients while managing existing portfolios.
- Cross‑sell insurance products and drive product initiatives.
- Monitor and manage credit risk to maintain portfolio quality.
Required profile
- Proven team‑management experience, preferably in a sales or lending environment.
- Strong background in SME asset financing, POS loans, or merchant acquiring.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and grow client bases.
- Experience in portfolio and credit‑risk management.
