Telephone Operator – Guest Experience Expert

About the role

The Telephone Operator, part of the Guest Experience team, ensures every guest interaction feels seamless and memorable. Working in a vibrant hotel environment on East Crescent, The Palm Jumeirah, you will support guests throughout their stay, from check‑in to departure, while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and route telephone calls, providing accurate information and assistance to guests.
• Process operational requests such as room assignments, reservations adjustments, and special service orders.
• Assist guests with luggage handling, vehicle loading/unloading, and transportation to and from guest rooms or the bell desk.
• Deliver local area highlights and recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
• Complete daily reports, log guest interactions, and communicate any issues to relevant departments.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company policies, confidentiality standards, and uniform appearance guidelines.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and navigate stairs or service ramps.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb unaided and up to 100 lb with assistance.
