Travel Consultant

About the role

The Travel Consultant will deliver high‑quality customer service by assisting passengers with airline ticket bookings, check‑in procedures, visa processing and other travel‑related inquiries. Working in an Air Arabia sales shop, the role focuses on ensuring a smooth and personalized travel experience while supporting daily shop operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate check‑in procedures and baggage handling in line with G9/IATA regulations.
• Process visa applications and cancellations through the Cozmo system, taking corrective actions for delays.
• Conduct off‑site passenger check‑ins, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Verify passenger information and travel documents before ticket issuance.
• Maintain complete and accurate booking records, refunds, exchanges and related documentation.
• Prepare basic sales and operational reports as required.
• Support the sales shop’s daily operations and collaborate with team members to meet branch objectives.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑service mindset.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (written and verbal).
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Management or related field; travel‑tourism specialization is a plus.
• IATA certification.
• Minimum 2 years of airport or airline sales experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Altéa DCS travel reservation system.
