VMware and Nutanix Subject Matter Expert

About the role

Ericsson is looking for an experienced VMware and Nutanix SME to manage and support enterprise infrastructure across VMware, Nutanix, Microsoft Azure, and Windows Server platforms in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and monitor VMware environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, storage, and VMs.
• Manage Nutanix infrastructure via Prism Central, AHV, and lifecycle activities.
• Administer Microsoft Azure services such as VMs, networking, storage, backup, and security.
• Perform Windows Server installation, configuration, patching, and performance tuning.
• Handle infrastructure lifecycle tasks, incident/problem/change management, and disaster recovery.
• Identify automation opportunities and maintain operational documentation.

Required profile

• BSc in Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of IT infrastructure operations experience.
• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on VMware administration and at least 3 years each in Nutanix and Azure administration.
• Strong incident management and stakeholder communication skills.
