Waiter – Fine Dining Restaurant

About the role

We are looking for a professional Waiter to join our fine‑dining restaurant in Downtown Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality food and beverage service, ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages according to menu and event standards.
• Set tables, arrange settings and maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, and glassware.
• Answer guest questions about menu selections and communicate special dietary requirements to the kitchen.
• Record orders in the MICROS POS system and present accurate checks for payment.
• Check in with guests throughout the service to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete closing duties such as restocking, turning off lights and securing the dining area.
• Follow all company, safety and security policies, including uniform standards and confidentiality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a fine‑dining or upscale restaurant environment.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb unaided.
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately.
