Waiter – Food & Beverage Service

About the role

Join Marriott International at The Dubai EDITION as a Waiter, delivering high‑quality food and beverage service to guests in a luxury hotel environment. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless dining experience, from greeting guests to processing payments.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests according to service standards.
• Set tables for various events and maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and utensils.
• Answer menu questions, communicate special dietary requirements, and coordinate with the kitchen.
• Record orders in the MICROS POS system and present accurate checks for payment.
• Check in with guests throughout the service to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking, turning off lights, and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Uphold uniform standards, confidentiality, and company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in food and beverage service.
• Ability to handle guest inquiries, allergies, and special requests professionally.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Professional appearance and clear, courteous communication.
• Commitment to safety, security, and company standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
