Consultant in Fetal Medicine – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Fetal Medicine to join our multidisciplinary team in Dubai. The role involves diagnosing, assessing and managing fetal conditions and high‑risk pregnancies using advanced imaging and prenatal interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anomaly scans, fetal echocardiography and growth assessments using advanced ultrasound.
• Provide prenatal counseling to expectant parents regarding conditions, prognosis and management options.
• Assess maternal history and develop individualized care plans.
• Perform or supervise invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS).
• Carry out fetal therapeutic interventions, including fetal blood transfusions, fetoscopic procedures and other intra‑uterine treatments.
• Collaborate with obstetrics, neonatology, genetics, pediatric surgery and radiology teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement, teaching and research activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Fellowship or certification in Fetal Medicine from a recognized international body.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Consultant in Fetal Medicine in a tertiary care hospital.
• Western education or experience in a recognized healthcare system (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or equivalent).
• Valid DHA, DOH or MOH Consultant licence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English (Arabic advantageous).
