Head of Marketing – B2B Exhibitions & Conferences

About the role

The client, a leading B2B events and exhibitions organizer, is seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to define and drive the strategic marketing direction for a portfolio of large‑scale exhibitions, conferences and trade shows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to boost visitor acquisition, delegate registrations and brand visibility across multiple events.
• Lead integrated campaigns across digital, content, partnerships, media and PR to maximise reach and engagement.
• Manage and mentor a marketing team, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
• Collaborate with sales, production and conference teams to support sponsorship, exhibition and delegate revenue targets.
• Oversee brand positioning, messaging and market expansion for the event portfolio.
• Track and analyse campaign performance, optimising activities to maximise ROI and audience growth.

Required profile

• At least two years of experience in a marketing management role within B2B events, exhibitions, conferences or media.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
• Proven ability to plan and deliver large‑scale, multi‑channel marketing initiatives.
• Strong communication skills for creating written content, delivering presentations and liaising with internal and external partners.
• Highly organised, analytical and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
