Junior AML Analyst – Insurance Division

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) Analyst to join the Insurance Division of a leading diversified group in Dubai. This entry‑level position supports the compliance team in developing and applying AML policies, conducting due‑diligence, and ensuring regulatory adherence across the insurance business.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of AML policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments to collect due‑diligence documentation.
• Execute due‑diligence activities and complete client risk assessments.
• Maintain records in line with the retention policy and meet reporting turnaround times.
• Review and support screening and transaction‑monitoring systems.
• Identify red flags, prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs).
• Liaise with regulators and supervisors on AML matters.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, Operations, Business Development and other stakeholders.
• Participate in compliance committee meetings and seek AML advice.
• Develop and deliver training on AML/CFT, FATCA and CRS.
• Assist in AML compliance reviews and support test work to address control deficiencies.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with a strong interest in compliance and financial crime prevention.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal teams.
• Good analytical mindset and attention to detail.
