Senior Facilities Manager – Hard Facility Management

About the role

The Senior Facilities Manager leads hard facility management operations for a large mall in Dubai, ensuring assets are proactively maintained to the highest standards. Reporting to the Mall Director of Operations, the role oversees a team of managers and collaborates with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a mall‑wide maintenance strategy.
• Inspect the mall daily, address tenant complaints, and monitor supplier activities.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, site insurance, and coordination between fit‑out contractors and FM/BMS teams.
• Manage day‑to‑day technical operations, including car park facilities.
• Maintain cost‑effective facilities management supporting energy, environmental, and quality objectives.
• Document and communicate FM processes in line with RPM and RCP guidelines.
• Prepare and control departmental budgets, track documents, and prioritize manpower and equipment needs.
• Report weekly performance metrics to department heads and conduct periodic surprise checks.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with experience managing large‑scale facility operations.
• Direct responsibility for four managers (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, LEED).
• Strong collaboration skills with retail, marketing, leasing, and external service providers.
• Ability to anticipate issues, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
