Senior Quantity Surveyor - Exhibition

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities for exhibition projects. The role involves preparing detailed BOQs, cost estimates, budgets and commercial proposals, and managing supplier quotations and project cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates and budgets by accurately interpreting CAD drawings and tender documents for exhibition stands.
• Obtain, evaluate and negotiate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining strong commercial relationships.
• Assess project commercial feasibility and propose cost‑effective alternatives to the design team, collaborating with sales and operations to keep projects within budget.
• Manage client variations, price negotiations and internal project budgets, and coordinate project cost closing with operations and finance for accurate commercial control.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator or Commercial professional in the exhibition, events, interior fit‑out or experiential industry.
• Proven track record of preparing detailed cost estimates, BOQs, material and subcontractor costing, and commercial pricing for exhibition stands and events.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, subcontractor pricing and event production costs; UAE/GCC exhibition or events experience preferred.
