Account Director - Safety, Infrastructure and Geospatial

About the role

Octave is looking for an Account Director in Abu Dhabi to develop new accounts and expand existing ones within a defined territory or product line, covering Safety, Infrastructure and Geospatial (SIG) solutions that protect people, assets and critical infrastructure. The role is hybrid and involves working with government, public safety and critical infrastructure buyers.

Key responsibilities

• Sell SIG solutions, defining business value for clients and representing Octave professionally
• Engage executive-level management and lead financial discussions and legal negotiations for client opportunities
• Identify protection gaps at existing clients and offer SIG solutions to close them
• Work with government, public safety and critical infrastructure buyers, including tenders and long sales cycles
• Understand customers' budgeting processes and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
• Work with partners and integrators, moving more business to direct sales over time
• Deliver on quota expectations consistently and mentor associate account sales executives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 10+ years of technology-related sales, business development or equivalent experience
• 7+ years selling in the oil and gas industry, government, public safety and critical infrastructure
• Experience presenting to C-level executives, IT and business lines; related experience is acceptable
• Experience selling geospatial, physical security, public safety or IoT security solutions is a plus
