Account Management Specialist - Enterprise Payments

About the role

Checkout.com is looking for a Specialist Account Management to join its Commercial team in Dubai. You will be the business advisor and primary post-integration contact for the company's largest merchants, helping them navigate the complex global payments landscape. The role suits someone who can influence C-level stakeholders, analyse payment performance deeply and turn difficult conversations into win-win partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Drive merchant ROI by crafting and running merchant-specific development plans focused on revenue generation and added value.
• Analyse merchant payment data to raise acceptance rates, reduce false declines and optimise the checkout flow.
• Identify opportunities to upsell new products and features and increase share of wallet.
• Act as the main line of defence against churn by building high-touch, consultative relationships and resolving complex merchant issues.
• Navigate pushback from sophisticated enterprise merchants with a focus on long-term partnership.
• Work with Sales, Integration, Legal and Product teams to deliver a seamless merchant experience.
• Advocate for the product and brand, giving guidance on global payment strategies.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in a B2B Enterprise Account Management or Relationship Management role in a payments or digital-first business.
• Mandatory knowledge of online payment technologies.
• Proven track record of hitting financial targets, reducing churn and driving expansion revenue.
• Experience handling high-pressure situations and pushback from demanding enterprise stakeholders.
• Comfortable turning complex transaction data into actionable recommendations.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manages multiple priorities.
• Exceptional English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
