Accountant

About the role

Grandeur Luxury Trading LLC is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, financial records, invoicing, inventory accounting, and VAT compliance. The role is ideal for candidates with experience in trading companies, especially those dealing with hotel supplies or hospitality products.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily accounting transactions including sales, purchases, receipts and payments.
• Prepare sales and purchase invoices, delivery notes, credit notes and payment vouchers.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank statements and cash accounts.
• Manage inventory records, reconcile stock with the warehouse team and monitor cost of goods sold.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, profit & loss statements and cash flow reports.
• Calculate VAT, maintain tax records and support UAE VAT return filing.
• Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a trading company handling hotel supplies, hospitality products or general trading.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books or QuickBooks.
• Solid knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and basic corporate tax requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial reporting.
• Experience in inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
