Accountant

About the role

A healthcare organization in Dubai (Healthcare City) is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team. The role supports daily accounting operations, financial reconciliations, documentation and reporting while keeping accurate financial records and internal controls. The position is full-time, based in Dubai, and the application deadline is 31 October 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cash and Bank/Treasury, or Payroll.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and accounting records.
• Support vendor payments, customer collections, petty cash management and fixed asset records.
• Assist with month-end closing and the preparation of accounting schedules.
• Contribute to financial reporting and the maintenance of internal financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial procedures and organizational policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Practical experience in at least two to three areas, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cash and Bank/Treasury or Payroll.
• Understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, financial documentation, month-end closing and internal controls.
• Good written and spoken English and Arabic communication skills.
• Preferred: background in a hospital, medical center, clinic or other healthcare organization.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems.
• Additional advantage: experience with bank reconciliations, petty cash, vendor payments, customer collections and fixed asset management.
