About the role

The Accounts Payable Supervisor will lead the team responsible for processing supplier invoices and managing payment disbursements. This role ensures accurate, timely payments and maintains strong vendor relationships, supporting the overall financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the accounts payable team, providing guidance and support.
• Oversee processing of supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payment terms.
• Coordinate and execute payment disbursements, including checks, electronic transfers, and wire transfers.
• Manage vendor relationships, address inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to ensure efficient invoice processing and payment.
• Conduct periodic vendor reconciliations and communicate with vendors on account balances.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and generate performance reports.
• Analyze data to identify trends and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support internal and external audits.
