Architect

About the role

Ohana Development is seeking an Architect to join its design team, responsible for carrying projects from concept through detailed and execution drawings while maintaining design intent and meeting technical, regulatory, and construction requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to concept design development through to detailed design and Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings.
• Produce and review high‑quality architectural drawings, details and specifications, ensuring alignment between design intent and on‑site execution.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants and contractors (MEP, structural, etc.) and develop technical solutions for complex design challenges.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, authority requirements and construction practices.
• Support the site team with design clarifications and drawing updates during construction.

Required profile

• Approximately 8–12 years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.
• Proven experience delivering residential, hospitality, mixed‑use or high‑end developments.
• Strong knowledge of UAE regulations and construction practices.
• Experience working with developers, consultants or design studios in the UAE/GCC region.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Familiarity with BIM standards and project coordination workflows.
