Assistant Design Manager

About the role

Mace is hiring an Assistant Design Manager in Dubai to support its development team on a large mixed-use project with retail, entertainment, residential apartments, business parks, hospitality and community facilities. The role provides hands-on support for design coordination, presentation preparation, meeting minutes, calendar and workshop coordination, action tracking, document control and consultant follow-ups. It suits someone organised, proactive and detail-oriented who wants experience in real estate development, retail design, project coordination and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Support development and design teams in coordinating activities across assigned projects
• Track consultant deliverables, submissions, approvals and design decisions
• Consolidate stakeholder feedback, coordinate responses and escalate outstanding issues
• Prepare presentations, dashboards, governance materials and management reports
• Coordinate meetings, workshops and design reviews, prepare agendas and support materials
• Capture accurate minutes, decisions, action owners and deadlines and follow up on time
• Maintain project records, registers, schedules and correspondence with disciplined document control
• Keep project information aligned between internal teams and external consultants

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, urban planning, engineering, real estate, project management or a related discipline
• Relevant experience; internships considered
• Strong coordination, communication and documentation skills

• Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
