Assistant Director of Sales - Corporate

About the role

Conrad Dubai is looking for an Assistant Director of Sales Corporate to support the Director of Sales in driving the hotel's sales strategy, achieving key performance objectives and maximising revenue across Bedrooms, Conference & Events and Food & Beverage. The role strengthens corporate partnerships, develops existing accounts and uncovers new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Drive proactive sales activity through client visits, sales calls, roadshows, trade shows, exhibitions and networking events to meet revenue targets and KPIs.
• Nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients and deliver tailored solutions.
• Take ownership of assigned corporate and managed segments and develop market-specific strategies.
• Promote the hotel as a preferred destination for Corporate Individual Business Travel (IBT) in the UAE.
• Complete the agreed number of daily sales appointments and client engagements.
• Prepare and present tailored proposals and presentations, and host property tours, familiarisation visits, networking events and business dinners.
• Identify and secure meetings, events and function space opportunities with accommodation requirements.
• Represent the hotel at industry events locally and internationally.
• Support revenue strategies through rate development, demand analysis, competitor benchmarking and channel management (HRW, CRO, GDS, online).
• Review sales proposals and contracts against brand standards and commercial guidelines.
• Research, qualify and develop new business leads and maintain accurate client databases and account files.
• Collaborate with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Area Sales Offices and other Hilton commercial teams.
• Attend sales meetings, step in to lead them in the Director of Sales' absence, and prepare timely sales reports.
• Participate in performance reviews, support special projects and follow health and safety and fire safety procedures.
