Assistant Director Sales - MICE

About the role

Conrad Dubai is looking for an Assistant Director of Sales - MICE to help shape and deliver the hotel's sales strategy, build lasting client relationships and drive revenue growth across rooms, meetings and events, food and beverage and groups. The role leads the development of the Groups and MICE business and works closely with the Director of Sales and hotel leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead proactive sales initiatives such as client appointments, off-site visits, presentations, roadshows and industry events, meeting agreed revenue targets, KPIs and sales strategies.
• Identify, pursue and secure meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions and group bookings, positioning the hotel as a preferred luxury destination in the UAE and internationally.
• Nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients through property tours, site inspections, familiarisation visits, networking events and client dinners.
• Own assigned markets and accounts, building targeted sales plans that strengthen market share and encourage repeat business.
• Research local, regional and global trends to generate qualified leads and expand the sales pipeline.
• Support pricing strategies, group thresholds, space utilisation plans and market-mix strategies using competitor intelligence and demand analysis.
• Review sales proposals and contracts to align them with hotel standards and commercial strategy.
• Work with Hilton sales teams and internal departments to turn enquiries into events, and maintain client databases, account files and development plans.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions and sales trips, and support the Director of Sales in meetings and briefings.
• Partner with operational teams to ensure client needs are met and uphold safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
