About the role
Jumeirah Burj Al Arab is seeking an Assistant Manager to support its Front Office team. This position plays a pivotal role in delivering the iconic Arabian hospitality experience to VIP guests and ensuring seamless daily operations in the hotel’s lobby and reception areas.
Key responsibilities
- Manage VIP arrivals, coordinate preferences with relevant departments, and maintain accurate guest profiles.
- Organise delivery of VIP amenities and perform quality checks on long‑stay guest amenities.
- Collaborate with Reservations to process guest preference forms and update arrival checklists.
- Prepare welcome folders, cards, scented towels and welcome drinks for all arriving guests.
- Supervise lobby greeters and the Guest Relations team, ensuring constant presence in the lobby.
- Arrange and oversee guest cocktail events, communicating attendance estimates to supporting departments.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within international luxury hospitality.
- Fluency in English; additional language knowledge is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business or a related field.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a multicultural team in a fast‑paced environment.
