Assistant Manager / Manager - Corporate Treasury (Financial Risk Management)

About the role

KPMG Lower Gulf is hiring an Assistant Manager or Manager within its Financial Risk Management (FRM) team. The role provides treasury advisory services to corporate clients, covering treasury strategies, policies, cash and liquidity management, hedging and treasury systems.

Key responsibilities

• Advise corporate clients on treasury strategies, policies, target operating models, cash and liquidity management processes, hedging strategies and treasury systems selection and implementation
• Manage multiple corporate treasury projects so that engagements are planned and delivered within budget and on time
• Lead and manage teams, deliver high-quality results and generate effective solutions
• Stay up to date with new developments in corporate treasury
• Build and strengthen internal and external relationships, and help senior management identify new opportunities
• Use knowledge and experience to create practical insights for clients and contribute to KPMG thought leadership

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance or Accounting
• 7+ years of prior experience in a corporate treasury function or in a consultancy/Big 4 firm
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or CFA
• Ability to work under pressure, with stringent deadlines and tough client conditions that may require extended working hours

Required skills

• Good technical knowledge of treasury systems and experience selecting and implementing them (KYRIBA, FIS, SAP HANA, GTreasury, etc.)
• Experience in cash and liquidity management, cash flow forecasting and cash pooling
• Prior experience in financial modeling and financial risk management
• Detailed knowledge of treasury product pricing and accounting treatments
• Experience managing and motivating a treasury team, and exposure to pre-sales support, proposals and RFP responses
