Assistant Professor – English Language & ESL (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Professor to join our English Language Faculty in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will deliver English, ESL and IELTS courses, supporting students in achieving high language proficiency and exam results.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lesson plans, instructional materials and assessments aligned with curriculum standards.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing timely feedback and academic guidance.
• Prepare students for standardized English proficiency exams such as IELTS and TOEFL.
• Incorporate modern teaching methodologies and technology to enhance classroom engagement.
• Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development initiatives and institutional activities.
• Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with academic policies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in English, Applied Linguistics, TESOL, Education or a related field.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience in English, ESL or IELTS, preferably within the UAE.
• Proven success in preparing students for IELTS, TOEFL or similar exams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management abilities.
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse student populations.

Required skills

• CELTA, DELTA or equivalent TESOL certification (preferred).
