Assistant Professor of Public Relations (Spring 2027)

About the role

The College of Media and Public Relations at Liwa University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Public Relations to start in Spring 2027 on the Abu Dhabi campus. The successful candidate will teach both theoretical and practical courses in Public Relations and Advertising, supporting the college’s mission in teaching, research, and community service. Instruction is delivered in Arabic.

Key responsibilities

• Teach theoretical and practical courses in Public Relations and Advertising.
• Deliver additional communication courses as needed by the faculty.
• Provide academic advising to students.
• Engage in college, community, and professional service activities.
• Contribute to the development and promotion of the program.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Communication with a specialization in Public Relations, Advertising, or Strategic Communication.
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience in Public Relations and Advertising at a higher‑education institution.
• At least one year of professional experience in Public Relations, Advertising, or Strategic Communication.
• Demonstrated record of scholarship with publications in Scopus‑indexed, peer‑reviewed journals.
• Ability to integrate Artificial Intelligence applications into teaching.
