Assistant Sales Manager - Hotel Attraction Tickets

About the role

Miral Destinations is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to drive attraction ticket sales from hotels across the UAE, with a key focus on Abu Dhabi. The role uses existing distribution channels to sell tickets through hotel desks and concierge desks, builds close relationships with DMC partners and hotel staff, and keeps the teams regularly connected to the destinations through activities, training and updates.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end hotel sales channel for UAE hotels, expanding partnership penetration beyond Abu Dhabi
• Develop and implement digital and print marketing collateral strategies for hotels in the UAE
• Work with the Transportation Team to improve ridership in the UAE
• Build and maintain relationships with DMC partners, hotel desk and concierge staff, hotel management and marketing teams
• Identify new distribution opportunities and make sure Miral Destinations' products are prominent at the point of sale in hotels
• Analyse hotel guest mix and source markets to focus on hotels with the best yield or volume opportunities
• Monitor monthly sales from the Concierge and Sales teams and keep management informed of trends
• Liaise with hotel and B2B marketing teams to deliver guest-facing marketing collateral
• Coach and appraise direct reports, support the Head of Sales with initiatives and action plans, and counsel and discipline employees
• Conduct product training and educational webinars for hotels, and recommend new product developments
• Keep hotel channels updated via the CRM system and work with international teams and DMCs
• Recommend cost-effective process improvements and contribute to the overall sales strategy

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 4 years of proactive sales experience in the UAE
• Account management and business development experience
• Experience managing sales contracts and previous experience with hotels and attractions
• Good written and spoken English; full driving licence
