Assistant Store Manager - Abu Dhabi The Grove

About the role

Golden Goose is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join the store team at its location in Abu Dhabi The Grove. The position reports directly to the Store Manager and supports the manager in achieving sales goals and overall store success, while delivering an elevated level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement sales strategies, monitor key sales KPIs and drive omnichannel sales using available tools and technology.
• Support the team in reaching commercial targets, customer satisfaction and quality standards.
• Take part in the sales process: give detailed product information, suggest complementary items and support up-selling and cross-selling.
• Listen to customer feedback, build personalized experiences, develop the customer database and register clients on the Golden App for segmentation and profiling.
• Coordinate clienteling activities with the CRM department and act as a brand ambassador, sharing brand vision, heritage and product insights.
• Maintain visual displays and store standards, and follow up on in-store trainings on brand, products, operations and soft skills.
• Ensure staff are welcoming, professional and well prepared on product and brand identity.
• Help oversee staffing for open positions so recruits meet company standards.
• Supervise and coordinate store activities, including SOPs, corporate rules, GDPR compliance and health and safety.
• Manage stock and the backroom (receiving, transfers, stock takes, arrangement, reporting).
• Train staff on digital commercial tools such as the Golden App, Sales Force, Xstore and Stealth.

Required profile

• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Sales background, preferably in a similar retail role.
• Strong communication, active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Team player, good time management and ability to prioritize.
