Assistant/Associate Professor – Computing and Applied Technology

About the role

The College of Technological Innovation at Zayed University seeks qualified candidates for multiple full‑time, multi‑year Assistant/Associate Professor positions. The role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and conducting applied research in cyber/security, networking, and artificial intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver specialized and introductory courses in information technology, cyber security, networking, digital forensics, and applied AI.
• Develop and supervise student research projects and mentorship activities.
• Contribute to the college’s applied research agenda aligned with UAE and Gulf ICT needs.
• Participate in curriculum development, accreditation activities, and departmental service.

Required profile

• Ph.D. from an internationally accredited university in a relevant discipline (e.g., Information/Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, Applied AI).
• Strong record of teaching excellence and scholarly research in one or more of the listed areas.
• Commitment to student mentorship, service, and collaborative work in a multicultural environment.
• Familiarity with ABET/CAA accreditation processes is preferred.
