Assistant/Associate Professor, Human Resource Management

About the role

The School of Business at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) is seeking a candidate to teach a diversified portfolio of Human Resource Management courses focused on the latest developments in the field, informed by research, sustainability standards and technological advances. The position is open for Fall 2027.

The appointed faculty member will be credentialed to teach topics such as people analytics and workforce forecasting, artificial intelligence in recruitment and selection, predictive analytics for turnover, performance and engagement, digital collaboration and employee monitoring, flexible work and work design, high-performance work systems, talent attraction, development and retention, diversity climate and psychological safety, human sustainability and responsible employment, competency-based development, cross-cultural leadership, Green HRM, compensation management, technology-mediated performance management and more.

Candidates must show potential for teaching excellence and have a research record or agenda that qualifies them as a scholarly academic under AACSB accreditation standards. All AURAK faculty must also serve the university, the discipline and the community.

Required profile

• Earned doctorate in Human Resource Management with the appropriate specialization from an accredited university
• Established research record for the assistant/associate professor rank
• History of successful university teaching experience in the specialization
• Record of university or community service
