Assistant/Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology

About the role

The College of Humanities and Sciences at Ajman University seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology to start in the Spring semester 2024‑2025. The successful candidate will join a diverse academic community, contributing to teaching, research, and service missions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Clinical Psychology, aligning with the university’s three fundamental standards: teaching, research, and service.
• Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and support student success.
• Conduct scholarly research, publish in Scopus‑indexed journals, and contribute to accreditation activities.
• Design course outlines, instructional resources, and community outreach initiatives.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the department.

Required profile

• PhD in Psychology or a related field from an accredited university in the United Arab Emirates.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience in an academic institution that uses the credit‑hour system.
• Record of publications in internationally indexed journals (Scopus).
• Fluency in both Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of computerized student information systems.
