Audit Manager - ADGM Compliance

About the role

Binance is looking for an Audit Manager to coordinate internal and external audit engagements for Binance ADGM Compliance. The role ensures that recommendations and actions from regulators and auditors are tracked to resolution and that closures are validated so that expectations are met. It works closely with Compliance Leaders, Audit, Legal, Product and business lines across ADGM and the Central Compliance teams to maintain a standardized audit and regulatory issue management framework.

Key responsibilities

• Support the ADGM Compliance team in closing regulatory exams and external audits, using subject matter expertise in financial crime frameworks and audit processes.
• Foster strong relationships with key Central Compliance functions to deliver items related to outsourced compliance activities.
• Follow a standardized exam and audit issue management framework, keeping progress on remediation transparent to all stakeholders.
• Track resolution of regulatory exams and audits so that ADGM Binance entities are presented in a compliant manner.
• Validate closures proposed by the relevant teams to ensure they satisfy the original gap identified.
• Assist with special projects as needed, in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Required profile

• 10+ years of compliance, audit and/or regulatory exam management experience, including closure validation and assurance.
• Knowledge of financial services regulations, compliance policies, standards and procedures.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global organization while staying in close contact with teams across multiple locations.
• BA degree or international equivalent; crypto/fintech and ADGM regulatory experience preferred.
