Audit Manager – Assurance Services

About the role

An established professional services firm is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead its Assurance Services team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing complex audit engagements, overseeing audit teams, and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex audit assignments and group engagements, ensuring quality and deadlines are met.
• Allocate and oversee team workloads, monitor engagement performance, and manage billing and collections.
• Review financial statements and audit documentation in line with IFRS and professional standards.
• Lead client meetings and communicate audit findings, recommendations and outcomes to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with audit quality, independence and client acceptance requirements.
• Maintain strong client relationships and manage engagement expectations.
• Support team performance, provide feedback and encourage professional development.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Accounting or a related field and a professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
• At least six years of post‑qualification auditing experience, preferably within a leading professional services firm or large multinational organisation.
• Proven experience managing audit engagements and leading teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and audit methodologies.
• Excellent client management, communication and presentation skills, fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong leadership, analytical and organisational abilities.
