About the role
A full-time, non-management Bartender position at a St. Regis hotel in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. The role is about building a memorable guest experience: bartenders know the basics of mixing drinks but stay alert to new trends, local offerings and guests' changing needs, acting as both beverage experts and hosts of the space.
Key responsibilities
- Mix drinks and keep the bar looking and functioning flawlessly
- Build relationships with colleagues across the hotel and in the community to anticipate and meet guest needs
- Take ownership of guest service beyond the bar, with attention to detail in payments, information given to guests and drink quality
- Follow company policies and procedures, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality and present a professional uniform and appearance
- Work on your feet and move around, lifting and carrying objects up to 25 pounds and reaching overhead and below the knees
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- No license or certification required
