Locker Room Attendant (Ladies)

About the role

Viya, part of wasl Hospitality & Leisure, is hiring a Ladies Locker Room Attendant for its golf and recreation facilities in Dubai. The role provides well-presented and efficient locker room services and amenities to members and guests, reporting to the Locker Room Supervisor and the Golf Experience Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a smart, professional appearance in line with company dress standards.
• Keep the locker room clean and tidy, with soap and shampoo dispensers full and working.
• Ensure floors and shower cubicles are regularly washed and dried, and sink areas tidy.
• Collect used towels immediately and make sure towel stock is available from the laundry.
• Keep a sufficient supply of toiletries, submitting a requisition to Stores before replacements are needed.
• Switch on and off the sauna and/or steam room at the right times and report faults to Engineering.
• Keep the digital locker allocation iPad charged and on display, and follow the club's lost and found procedures.
• Offer a shoe cleaning service to players and liaise with the Membership Manager on locker usage and payments.
• Follow the rules of the locker room, including who may use it and the need for discretion while changing.
• Take part in continuous improvement activities and committees, and be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider.
• Apply the 4 Service Steps to serve internal and external customers, and comply with information security policies.

Required profile

• Grade VIII and above.
• Excellent communication skills and good command of English.
• Ability to interact with guests from different countries and cultures.
• A desire to provide a high level of customer service.
