Billing Executive

About the role

Sunny Medical Center Al Nahda in Sharjah is looking for a Billing Executive to serve patients at the front desk and handle payments and invoicing. The role covers greeting visitors, recording services in the electronic records, issuing receipts and managing cash and credit sales.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers properly, welcome them and direct them appropriately
• Receive payment by cash or credit card
• Enter services correctly into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) according to the institution's policies and protocols
• Generate invoices for cash and insurance, issue receipts and give refunds and balances to customers
• Identify prices of all services and tabulate bills in the EMR; report any discrepancies to clinic management or the Finance Manager
• Count cash in the cash drawers at the start of each shift and tally cash and credit sales against the EMR at the end of the day
• Maintain statistics on promotions and campaigns in the authorised format
• Answer customer queries and notify management of any customer or billing system issues

Required profile

• College diploma in any discipline or a related field
