BIM and Information Management Manager - Rail

About the role

Mace is recruiting a BIM and Information Management Manager for a rail project in Dubai. The role leads information management strategies, standards and governance frameworks aligned with client requirements, programme objectives and the ISO 19650 series, and integrates information management with programme controls such as cost, risk, change, assurance and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of information management strategies, standards and governance frameworks aligned with client requirements and the ISO 19650 series.
• Develop and manage information requirements, common data environments (CDEs) and digital delivery processes.
• Coordinate information management across clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Integrate information management with programme controls (cost, risk, change, assurance, delivery).
• Oversee production, validation and assurance of information models, requirements and digital handover.
• Promote digital innovation, emerging technologies and best practice, and provide reporting, technical guidance and capability development.
• Champion safety, quality, compliance and continuous improvement, and support the net zero carbon transition by managing associated emissions and reductions.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent professional experience in the applicable discipline.
• Demonstrated experience on rail, metro, high-speed rail or comparable major infrastructure programmes.
• Knowledge of relevant delivery processes, standards, systems and governance.
• Professional membership, chartership or specialist certification preferred where applicable.
• UAE or wider GCC experience is advantageous but should not replace technical and delivery competence.

• Multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• ISO 19650 and CDE knowledge.
