Business Development Executive – Food Ingredients & Bakery

About the role

The client is a leading supplier of bakery ingredients and food solutions operating for over 30 years across five countries. They are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to grow sales and develop new opportunities in the bakery, foodservice, HORECA and food manufacturing sectors throughout the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets, KPIs and business objectives.
• Identify and acquire new customers while expanding existing accounts.
• Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations and negotiate sales.
• Prepare quotations, follow up inquiries and close sales opportunities.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
• Provide daily reporting on activities and market intelligence.
• Coordinate with internal teams for order processing and timely deliveries.
• Follow up on collections and keep customer accounts healthy.
• Update sales activities and customer data in the CRM/ERP system.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
• 3‑5 years of sales experience in food ingredients, bakery or HORECA.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting, data analysis).
• UAE market experience in a similar field is preferred.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
