Carpenter – Resort Maintenance

About the role

The Carpenter will maintain and repair all carpentry and joinery works at the Radisson Resort Al Marjan Island. This role supports the hotel’s operational standards by ensuring furniture, fittings and minor constructions are kept in excellent condition.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all carpentry, joinery, and furnishings such as chairs, tables, and cabinets.
• Perform minor constructions, installations, and replacements of hinges, door closures, and other fittings.
• Work with materials including wood, fibre‑board, Formica, glass and plasterboard.
• Provide stock information to the Store Controller and report any hazards.
• Maintain a clean uniform and adhere to safety and hotel policies.

Required profile

• Technical certification in Carpentry.
• 2–5 years of experience in hotel or building maintenance.
• Knowledge of water systems, pumps and sanitary installations.
• Ability to work shifts, respond to emergencies and follow safety procedures.
