About the role
The Chef de Partie will support the kitchen operations of a prestigious 5‑star hotel in Dubai, stepping in to manage the kitchen in the absence of senior chefs and ensuring high standards of food quality and service.
Key responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for kitchen operations when the Chef de cuisine or Sous Chef is absent.
- Supervise and train commis chefs and new staff members.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and temperature controls in line with regulations.
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and control wastage.
- Prepare mise en place, ensure correct food presentation, and support smooth service across departments.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience in a public‑contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle‑brand hotel.
- Strong communication skills in English and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail, multitasking ability in a fast‑paced environment, and a professional appearance.
