Civil Site Engineer - Bridge Maintenance

About the role

The Civil Site Engineer will supervise daily bridge maintenance and repair activities on site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements. You will coordinate with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and site teams to deliver high‑quality bridge services across Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor bridge maintenance and repair works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, method statements and quality standards.
• Coordinate daily activities, manpower allocation and resource requirements with Project Engineers and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular site inspections, monitor workmanship, materials and progress, and report issues to the Project Engineer.
• Maintain site records, daily reports, inspection requests and progress updates.
• Assist in measurement of completed works and preparation of project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Site Engineer on bridge maintenance, rehabilitation or construction projects in the UAE.
• Experience with Abu Dhabi Municipality bridge projects is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with structural repairs, concrete repairs, waterproofing, protective coating, expansion joints and bearings.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
