Civil Site Engineer

About the role

Archirodon, an international EPC contractor active for more than half a century in Energy, Marine, Infrastructure and Defence & Security projects, is looking for a Civil Site Engineer to join its Oil, Gas and Chemicals Division. The role involves supervising civil site works and keeping the site running safely, on schedule and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and execute civil site works according to approved drawings, project specifications and construction schedules.
• Monitor daily site activities for compliance with safety, quality and schedule requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, client representatives and other disciplines.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and approved method statements.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements, and take part in regular site safety inspections.
• Monitor progress, prepare daily and weekly site reports and update project management.
• Manage manpower, materials, tools and equipment.
• Identify, report and resolve technical issues with the Engineering and QA/QC teams, and liaise with QA/QC and clients on inspections and approvals.
• Support project handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in civil site execution within Oil & Gas or EPC projects.
• Experience supervising civil works and coordinating with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of project specifications, construction standards, HSE requirements and PTW systems.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, inspections and project documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Leadership, communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
