Clinical Psychologist (CDA Eligible) – Dubai Healthcare Facility

About the role

This position is aimed at internationally trained psychology professionals who hold recognised qualifications and have relevant clinical experience. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessment, diagnosis and evidence‑based therapeutic interventions to individuals facing emotional, behavioural and psychological difficulties.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and clinical interviews to evaluate patients' emotional, cognitive and behavioural functioning.
• Develop and deliver individualised, evidence‑based treatment plans for anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and other concerns.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed and maintain accurate, confidential clinical records.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, counsellors and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide psycho‑education to patients and families and recognise situations requiring specialist referral.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or doctoral qualification in Clinical Psychology or a related discipline.
• Recognised academic qualifications with supervised clinical training.
• Relevant experience in psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions.
• Valid Community Development Authority (CDA) licence or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong knowledge of evidence‑based approaches, ethical practice and excellent communication skills.
