Commercial Lead

About the role

Wood is seeking an accomplished Commercial Lead to drive growth in the eastern peninsula region. The role combines commercial insight, market knowledge and strategic thinking to identify opportunities, develop partnerships and deliver measurable results for major energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise commercial performance while managing pre‑ and post‑contract risk.
• Lead commercialisation of sub‑business group service offerings to support growth.
• Ensure compliance with Wood’s commercial, contracting and tender governance policies.
• Develop and maintain project commercial plans, forecasts and cash‑flow models.
• Oversee post‑award administration, including contract set‑up, invoicing, bond approvals and change management.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to lead safety‑focused behaviours and act with the highest ethical standards.
• Strong champion of financial management frameworks and delegation of authority processes.
• Proven experience in commercial governance, dispute resolution and cash collection.
