Construction Manager – Commercial & Tourism Projects

About the role

Rowad Modern Engineering is seeking an experienced Construction/Site Manager to lead on‑site activities for high‑profile commercial and tourism projects in the UAE. The role involves overseeing the entire construction lifecycle, from planning through handover, while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all on‑site construction activities for commercial building projects.
• Manage daily site operations, including subcontractors, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
• Monitor progress, productivity, and resource utilization, applying corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with Technical Office, QA/QC, Planning, MEP, and HSE teams for seamless execution.
• Guarantee compliance with UAE building regulations, QHSE standards, and client requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years managing commercial projects in the UAE.
• Proven track record in high‑end finishing works.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, building codes, and QHSE standards.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder management abilities.
