Consultant Gastroenterologist – American Board / UK CCT

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Dubai. The role offers the chance to work in a state‑of‑the‑art facility, delivering expert care to patients with gastrointestinal and liver conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic and biliary disorders.
• Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide comprehensive patient consultations and follow‑up.
• Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists and dietitians to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research and continuous medical education.

Required profile

• American Board Certification, UK CCT, or another recognized Western qualification in Gastroenterology.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post‑board/CCT experience as a Consultant Gastroenterologist.
• Extensive experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and management of complex cases.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
