Consultant Gastroenterologist (Female) – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Female Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Dubai. The successful candidate will diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and digestive disorders while delivering patient‑centered care in line with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, dietitians, and internal medicine specialists.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with DHA regulations.
• Educate patients and families on treatment, prevention, and lifestyle changes.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement, and CME programs.
• Supervise junior medical staff as required.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by DHA.
• Board certification or fellowship in Gastroenterology.
• DHA license or eligibility letter for Consultant Gastroenterologist.
• 5–7 years post‑specialisation experience in a reputable hospital.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English; Arabic or Hindi an advantage.
